skills Audits 1 & 2 and my final evaluation for my performance

-Evaluate what learnt already

I have learnt to be the Character instead of playing the character, I have learnt to know my objectives which made my performance much much stronger and got me a Distinction. Also i had use and control of technical and interpretive acting skills, showing imagination and insight and a high level of focus, response and effort in practice and development.

-Evaluate how you've improved.

Even though I sometime get a line wrong I carry on, instead of says "oh no" because that runes your performance and it is not fair on your cast members because you are meant to work at a group.

-Evaluate your ability to communicate character using voice and body.-Evaluate your awareness of audience and space.

WWW: I believed in the character moreover, which made the  views believe me because I ask some people and they said they believed in my character which was really amazing, everyone heard almost everything I said. I always faced the audience while performing i did not show my back once.

EBI: I did not say my first line so quietly because I didn't think people heard me and that is something i need to work on a very clear and loud opening.

Good Acting Skills 2

Good Acting Skills 2
Don't just act but act at the same time and know your objectives. Having doing objectives is really good because you need to know what you are doing all the time and you need to think what do I have to lose. you need to remember "grab of act" in every scene you do, grab of act is making every scene a chase scene and keeping the viewer entertained.

Make other people work harder, to make the scene a better scene, remember lines, rhyme and the action. Trust: for you to do a good performance you need to trust your self and the people you are doing a scene with. Take your time when doing your scene, be simple and don't work to hard. Good acting is having the courage to know what your doing.
Play your objective, don't just do something, have a purpose for the action you are doing.

WWW: I am really good at getting into a character however, I need to improve in knowing my objectives and having doing objectives instead of surreal objectives. EBI: A target of mine is knowing my objectives and playing do able objectives because there is a purose for the actions I am doing. This is why I think I am a M2/D2.

What have I learnt about the world of Acting today?

I need to belive in the role instead of just playing it, not reapeating actions but using emotions and always knowing how your Character is feeling is diffrent places in the play.

You need to analyze your Character, don't over think your part, lwt it go and let it come naturally.

How have I improved?

Learn the line cold will help me because it will help me remember my lines because i need to re-hear-all not repeat all. Also you need to use the truth of the Character to pretray the Character.

objective Annotation

Objectives Annotation.

when your doing a play you don't just act, u need to find what your objective is for example one of my lines is I went in the church, I saw the bodies, I saw you and I took the shot. I picked you up and I ran.

My objectives for this line is "I went in the church,/ I saw the bodies,/ I saw you/ and I took the shot./ I picked you up/ and I ran."
*To inform="I went in the church"
*To describe="I saw the bodies!
*To recall="I saw you"
*To inform=" and I took the shot"
*To reassure="I picked you up"
*To admit=" and I ran"

my first evaluation

Unit B3: Acting Skills Assignment Brief

WWW: I have learn to put my self in the mind set of the character and to know my objectives and when I need to change objectives or when I still have the same objective. Also I have learn to understand the character more by character creation exercises and researching my character and my play. Also Don't RE-PEAT-ALL, don't repeat something you have done. Body language, Emotional state, keep focus and status. I have project my voice really well while I am performing or doing a scene.

EBI: I only stop my objective until I reach it or someone has brought something that changes my objective, this is something I really need to work on to make my performance more believable. I make every scene a chase scene because I need to use my body more and move around much more.

Play your objective, don't just do something, make sure you have a purpose. The most important thing on stage is that you act out your objectives with out speaking or saying a sound. Always remember Body language, Emotional state, keep focus and status.

You need to look at social and political of your play, Hot seating and improvised scene, working with physical objectives and working with them and 3 lines scenes because you are always working on a defined set.

Advantages of working on a defined set
A advantage of working on a defined set is everything is not set in place you can move the set to what you will prefer and how you feel it should be. There is more freedom if you work on a defined set rather, then a undefined set.

Disadvantages of working on a defined set
A disadvantage of working on a defined set is that you don't know where things are going to be place exactly.

Good acting skills
Voice warms, breathing, sirening,Physical warm ups, Energy levels, Statues of characters, emotional state, Hot seating, Improvised scenes, create the previous scene, working with physical objectives, playing objectives, finding useful physical objectives and tongue twisters are all good examples of really good warm up exercises to get ready to act and to help you become the character instead of playing the character.

Hot seating: hot seating is someone sitting on a chair and them becoming their character. After that people ask them questions and that person need to answer there questions as there character.
Emotional state: Emotional state is knowing the other characters objectives and using that know how your character is feeling. you need to know if your character is sad, angry, frustrated etc.
Working with physical objectives: You need to work with objectives that are physical objectives, like to wonder, to be annoyed etc.

Tongue Twisters=
"Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.

Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers?

If Peter Piper Picked a peck of pickled peppers,

Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

The shells she sells are surely seashells.

So if she sells shells on the seashore,

I'm sure she sells seashore shells.

Red lorry, yellow lorry."
Acting Exercises
The 9 Questions
Who am I?
Where am I?
What time is it?
What surrounds me?
What are my given circumstances?
What is my relationship?
What do I want?
What’s in my way?
What do I do to get what I want?
Historical
It is important to research the history of the play because it gives you as a actor more understanding of the playing and your character to help you pretrial the character to the best of your ability. Also to know what has happen early on in the play not just the scene that you are acting in but the whole play.

Cultural
It is important to research the culture of the character because it is important to know what they like and don't like. Also it is important to research the different cultural sides of your play and the characters.

Political
The political government in Britain, where the play is set. David Cameron is the Prime Minister And Leader Of The Conservative Party are in charge of London.

Peer Editing=simons blog

1.  What do you think is the strongest part of the blog? This could be a certain post, the writing style, the graphic design, the use of alternative media, the images, etc. What makes this element so strong?

I think the strongest bit of there blog is the picture he has used because it represents the life the character he is, life and what has happened to them. He has added of the Genocide which is good because it shows one of the main themes of the play and it shows what his character has gone through, which suggest he has well researched his character. This is what makes his performance much, much stronger.

2.  Is there a part of the blog you find confusing? A part that doesn’t seem to quite match the rest or the character for which it was designed? A link for which you don’t understand the connection? Can you give some suggestions for how to improve that part?

He has a link on the Genocide however, he does not say this is the troubles and pains i went through or something like that he just has a random link at the top of his Character blog which is quite confusing. To improve he needs to say what the links about because if he does not it will be just confusing.

3.  After reading the blog, what would you like to know more about? Is there a post that leaves you with questions? Write down at least two questions to help your partner further develop this blog.

I would like to know how he feels about the genocide and how he lived without no mother or father. Also with the interahamwe coming where did he hind, how did he survived and know  he got contact with joseph and alex.

4.  Did you notice any major misspellings or grammatical issues? Please note down anything.

no i did not

5.  Did your partner fulfil all the requirements on the Character Blog Requirements handout?

yes he did for most, he blog suggest that he looked at sirs blog and that he look and what he had to do for everything and explained it.

If not, which one or ones still need to be added?
